История
Cardiovascular illness kills more people than anything else in the developed world. However, with today’s medical advances, humanity no longer has to helplessly stand by as leaders, loved ones, and legions of others slip away. Health is our most valuable asset and at Acrostak we strive to protect and restore health with the most precisely crafted and well-developed balloons on the market.
When life hangs in the balance, we take the standards of Swiss quality to an even higher level. That way, each one of our patients can have a higher chance of recovering their health and thus recovering their lives.
We’ve been committed to this concept of saving lives since our founding in 2001 by a group of Swiss doctors and engineers. Since then we’ve developed industry leading balloons such as the 2008 launch of the unprecedented ACROSS CTOTM which was the smallest ever entry and crossing profile balloon. We’ve since added to the ACROSS CTOTM line in order to offer a versatile solution for every problem.
Our lauded specialty balloons were the result of listening to doctors’ concerns and finding a solution. Both variations of the GRIPTM balloon were in response to worries about restenosis and heavily calcified lesions while the GENIETM was a solution to the issue of drug delivery.
In 2017 we once again proved our commitment to doctors and patients when we introduced the M-CATHTM. This micro-catheter incorporated a unique dual shaft and was designed to combine powerful push and torque in order to assist doctors who were frustrated with their current micro-catheters’ inability to penetrate many CTOs. The same year we also expanded into extrusion production to ensure that every aspect of our balloons are of the highest quality.
